We are located opposite East Brisbane State School and The Gabba on Wellington Road. There is limited parking onsite, however we are a 7-minute walk from the Wooloongabba station or you can find street parking on Wellington Road and along neighbouring streets.
Having a clean and safe environment is our number one priority. We undertake regular cleaning of all our facilities and maintain accurate sanitation of the pools, spa, and ice bath. To help with this, we ask that everyone showers before entering any of the pools and uses a towel at all times in all saunas.
Additionally, if you are sick, please refrain from visiting until you are well again.
Due the communal nature of our facilities at Life Labs, we have a strict no-nudity policy and ask that you enter the Contrast Therapy Zone and other treatment modalities clothed.
For comfortable use of the contrast mineral pools, traditional sauna, and steam room (Contrast Therapy Zone) we recommend wearing a bathing suit as you will also use the rinse-off showers on the pool deck after sauna and steam room use. If you are using any additional modalities, such as Compression Therapy, during your sessions, it’s suggested that you wear comfortable clothing.
Life Labs offers a welcoming communal space that encourages connection and community, however we do ask that you are mindful of those seeking a quiet retreat in the same space.
Please respect the privacy of those around you by refraining from filming or photographing other guests within the centre. We also ask that all visitors abide by our no nudity policy by wearing a bathing suit or comfortable attire at all times in shared areas.
The Standard Membership or 7 Day Pass is the best value way to make the most of our facilities, however we also offer a 60 minute Casual Visit to enjoy our Contrast Therapy Zone (with the option to add on a 45 minute Chill Zone session).
Additionally, all of our single treatment Premium Modalities are available to book individually or as an Add-On to your visit and will attract member pricing for anyone on a weekly membership.
Yes, our services and modalities are governed by a capacity limit to ensure an enjoyable and optimised experience for all guests. Our online booking app (Fresha) therefore allows bookings up to one hour in advance, however please phone ahead or check with us at reception if you need a last-minute session and we will do our best to accommodate.
For Members, you will have access to book seven days in advance for all sessions from your weekly debit day.

As a courtesy to other guests, it is important that you advise us either over the phone or via the booking app (Fresha) if you need to cancel or reschedule so we can make your time slot or session available to others.
We require 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule to avoid fees and any unused member sessions cannot be credited. Additionally, we are unable to offer refunds for no-shows on any treatment modalities.
If you need to cancel or reschedule after the 24 hours cut-off, please call reception as soon as possible.
Yes, of course. Please create a “group appointment” via the booking app (Fresha) or mention to reception at the time of booking to ensure your appointment time is together in shared zones. All visitors must complete their own Fresha profile and relevant waivers upon arrival.

Our Platinum Membership is for the ultimate wellness enthusiast, with unlimited access to the Contrast Therapy Zone and the Chill Zone, Infrared Saunas, Compression Therapy, Core and Training Protocols, and member pricing for Premium Modalities.
Our memberships have an initial three month minimum commitment, however we understand things change and this may impact how you use your membership with us.

At Life Labs, we’ve created a selection of Wellness Protocols to support and further enhance your Contrast Therapy experience.
Our Core Protocols suit most people looking for the ultimate mind body reset, through increased recovery times, better cognitive function, improved circulation and stress reduction depending on your day, week or lifestyle factors (Included in all Membership Types).
Additionally, we offer our Training Protocols which incorporate Compression Therapy and Infrared Sauna, essential pre/post event training to improve muscle function and recovery, blood circulation and clear detox pathways (Included in Platinum Membership only).
At Life Labs, our focus is on ensuring you get the most out of your sessions with us, whether that’s recovery, performance or relaxation related.
We find most of our Members and guests will centre their sessions around Contrast Therapy with temperatures ranging from 8°-80°C for a full mind and body reset and then explore our Premium Modalities or Chill Zone for added benefit.
When you use the Contrast Therapy zone, you’ll have the option to either move through with one of our science-backed Wellness Protocols, an adaptation of one or to go entirely at your own pace or protocol. If you still can’t decide or need a little guidance, we offer free consultations to speak with one of our Wellness Coordinators and find the best fit for you.
If you are pregnant or have any medical conditions or concerns, we will always advise that you speak with your own medical provider prior to visiting to determine suitability.
In addition, we encourage you to mention to our reception staff if you do have any questions or concerns around any treatments, services or equipment, so that we can ensure your comfortability before using the facilities.
For all visitors (Members and Guests), we require a medical waiver to be completed upon entry, with some services requiring separate forms to assess suitability and consent. Please note, we may seek medical clearance for your participation in any Life Labs treatments or services.
