The Benefits of Compression & Massage Gun Therapy

Whether you exercise frequently, are training for an event, experiencing swollen legs from travel, standing for long periods of time or suffering from muscle soreness, these proven and patented technologies can assist in alleviating a sluggish system while rejuvenating your body, helping you maintain peak wellness as you age.

Compression Therapy is a non-invasive, zero downtime therapy that improves oxygenated blood circulation, enhances muscle performance and recovery, and supports lymphatic drainage. At the beginning of your session you will experience a pre-inflate cycle where the boots/sleeves calibrate and mould to your body shape. After this is complete, your massage cycle will commence. Each zone within the treatment area will compress in a pulsing manner and then release as the pattern works up your limb. This process is repeated until the session ends, with a brief rest period in between every cycle.

Designed to optimise human function, the Massage Gun’s technology uses percussive therapy to stimulate blood flow, reduce muscle tension or pain, and improve circulation. The rhythmic pulses of the device may also create a soothing effect on the body, helping reduce stress levels and improve your mood so you feel rejuvenated and mentally sharp.

Breaking Down the Benefits of Compression & Massage Gun Therapy

  • Compression & Massage Gun Therapy helps to alleviate muscle soreness and inflammation by improving blood flow, providing targeted relief and speeding up the removal of metabolic waste products, including lactic acid. This can accelerate the muscle repair process, helping you recover faster with less discomfort.
  • Compression Therapy works by applying gentle, intermittent pressure to the body, helping stimulate blood flow which ensures that oxygen and nutrients are efficiently delivered to muscles and tissues. The Massage Gun stimulates blood flow to promote increased oxygenation of tissues which is vital for recovery and reducing inflammation.
  • After vigorous physical activity, muscles often feel fatigued due to the buildup of lactic acid and other waste products. This recovery method accelerates the removal of these byproducts, helping to reduce the onset of soreness and feelings of heaviness in the muscles. Moreover, applying controlled pressure to the body helps address pain and inflammation by promoting the flow of oxygen and nutrients to injured or inflamed areas. Regular sessions after exercise can significantly reduce the impact of delayed-onset muscle soreness (DOMS) and can be a drug-free and non-invasive way to manage pain.
  • Targeting specific muscle groups and relieving chronic muscle pain, tension and knots, these recovery tools may enhance joint flexibility, range of motion, and overall physical performance.
  • By improving circulation, Compression Therapy ensures that muscles receive a constant supply of oxygen and nutrients, which is essential for sustaining endurance and performance. This process also helps with the removal of waste products that often causes fatigue during physical exertion. The pressure applied by compression garments can also increase the elasticity of muscle fibers, preventing future strains and promoting more effective muscle rehabilitation.
