  • It is important for your body to regulate its temperature gradually and naturally. While it may be tempting, we recommend avoiding hot showers immediately after – instead, dry yourself off, put on some warm clothes and take deep breaths. Warm fluids may aid in the process.
  • If you are under 16, are currently pregnant or suffer from the following health concerns it is advised that you do not participate in contrast therapy (high blood pressure, deep vein thrombosis, untreated epilepsy). The way in which your body responds to an Ice Bath depends on existing health factors so it is important to consult your medical practitioner prior to booking in your session if you are unsure.
  • If you are new to immersing your body in ice-cold water, we suggest starting with short sessions (1-2 minutes), setting a goal to increase the duration gradually over time.
  • We recommend keeping hydrated prior to your session as this will assist the body in regulating your temperature, keeping you from getting cold too fast. Additionally, stretching before immersing your body in the Ice Bath will assist with circulation and loosening tight muscles.
