This whole body experience can be upgraded with the option to add on Compression Therapy or the Massage Gun. Harnessing the benefits of increased blood circulation, mobility and joint health so you can feel restored, this optional add-on will extend your session a further 30 minutes.

This protocol involves cycling through hot and cold therapies that work synergistically to encourage peak performance during times of intensive training or prepare your body for athletic events. So yes, if you have an upcoming marathon or crossfit competition this might be just for you! The benefits achieved through our Revive Cycle range from improved blood flow and lymphatic drainage, muscle relaxation, increased energy levels and positively boosted endorphin response.

Begin your session in the Traditional Sauna to boost circulation and detoxification while reducing any muscle soreness or stress you may be experiencing. This is followed by hot and cold full body immersions in the Contrast Pools to stimulate your cardiovascular and central nervous system so you can speed up the muscle recovery process.

We recommend beginning the Revive + Compression session with your choice of Compression Therapy or the Massage Gun to help maximise your performance, reduce lactic acid build up and target any muscle tension.

Protocol Overview

  • If you choose to complete our Revive Protocol with the addition of Compression Therapy or the Massage Gun to help reduce tension and increase lymphatic drainage, begin your session with your choice of therapy for 30 minutes.

    If you are not completing this stage, begin your session in the Traditional Sauna.

  • By immersing the body in dry heat, typically between 65°C to 90°C for 15 minutes, the Sauna induces sweating, promotes detoxification, and provides a myriad of potential health benefits.

  • Rinse off in the showers after your session in the Traditional Sauna and move to the Contrast Mineral Pools to repeat hot and cold full body immersions.

    We recommend cycling through two or three rounds of 2 minutes Cold > 2 minute Hot > 3 minutes Cold > 3 minutes Hot. 

  • Rinse off after your session in the Contrast Mineral Pools before riding out 1-2 minutes in the ice bath or cold plunge, the choice is yours.

  • All protocols should be ended with a cool or tepid shower to slowly regulate your body temperature.
